21 December 1997 Here I am enjoying a hot chocolate at the top of the bubble lift.
22 December 1997 Had a bit of lunch after a couple of runs. Some sort of omelette if I'm not mistaken.
22 December 1997 Here we are on the French/Swiss border and not an official in site!
The run down to the right here (into Switzerland) is called, 'The Wall' and is notorious for it's difficulty. People die regularly (well, every other season or something) attempting it, so I think we'll stick to France.
23 December 1997 And when I say cold... I mean it was cold! Is that ice forming on my facial growth?
15 January 1998 Here I am after just kicking a weed out of the ground in Yvette's Tea Tree plantation.
I think that'll do for the farm work for now
15 January 1998 While on this trek around the farm, Kim came across the outer skin (or whatever the correct insect term is) of a seccarda that had shed it.
Here she is explaining what it is, and how we should handle the delicate object with care...
Interesting? Well, at least you could admire her hat!
15 January 1998 Here's the scene during the beer and cake frenzy... er... formal dinner that was my birthday celebration.
16 January 1998 Here's the imaginatively named Rooey. A tame kangaroo (or is she a swamp wallaby?) brought up by Yvette's family after one of their friends shot it's mother and found poor old Rooey in the pouch.
20 January 1998 Get used to it, there's a whole lot of beach to see in Aus (woohoo!!!).
20 January 1998 Here's the cast and crew from Home and Away doing the business... I think they're all out on the water in a boat at this stage.
26 January 1998 Here's the view of the Opera House from the back, just at the end of Macquarie Street. Like, as if you want to see yet another shot from the front or side? This is where we watched the ships go by for a while.
26 January 1998 One of the tall ships out for the Australia Day celebrations passing under the Harbour Bridge.
26 January 1998 Another ship passing on it's way out to sea, spot the nutters in the crew up on the masts...
