Last time I was here you were able to walk up to this statue & touch it. Any ideas why they put a stop to that?

Passing shops in Rome. Can't work out if ability to buy $3000 handbag is proof craftsmanship lives, or of stupidity & wretched excess. Both?

Pretty grey day in Rome. Seems to warrant some B&W shots as we walk from Piazza del Popolo to the Spanish Steps.

Passing St Peter's Square (we stayed in a hotel close by): Pratiwi showing the scale of the pillars that surround it.

Centre of Florence to centre of Rome (literally right next to Vatican). Amazingly a completely uneventful drive. 2½ hours. #NoSpeeding

Thought I'd gone terribly on last ride. Just found out it was 20km longer than measured thanks to bad wheel magnet calibration! #relief

Just saw dude using a Galaxy Note. Amusingly he had numeric keypad on screen & was tapping away at it like he was stuck in the 90s. Doh!

Random walk in Florence today. Some skewed views of cathedral as we pass, trying (& failing) to avoid crowds. Busy!
