Arriving in San Sebastian: little walk along La Concha before we get to the serious business of the day...

Let the festival of pintxos begin! Nom, nom, nom!

The old town of San Sebastian isn't big, but still... one needs to take a break & rest once in a while Cheers!

San Sebastian old town is packed with pintxos bars like this. This one seems as good as any, so in we go... grin

More pintxos & sangria for the girls, beer & steak for me! Luuurve Basque food! PS. this is smallest cut on the menu!

Morning wonder around San Sebastian. Overcast & quiet, but still lovely. Now... which of these tapas bars is open?

Oh look... pintxos for... well, let's call this brunch Managed to squeeze some desert this time too. Delicious! grin

Stroll along Hendaye beach, with obligatory ice-cream stop. Shame about the clouds, but TBH almost nicer like that.

Swanning around Hendaye marina. Personally I don't see the point of a snail without wheels, but takes all sorts!

Creperie Iguzkian in Hendaye. Nom, nom, nom! Even the crepes seem to taste better here in the Basque region!

The market at Saint-Jean-de-Luz. As you'd expect in a coastal town there's a bit of fish amongst the usual goodies!
