Another wonderful summer's day up near the Hourquette d'Ancizan. Always nice to stop & say hello to the locals.

Today's ride: local loop then up the Col d'Aspin. Because, why not? Mooooooo! grin

I often ride this road but drove today. Traffic here can be tricky as you see. Imagine negotiating this on a bike!

Bit of a traffic jam out riding today. Well, traffic of the bovine kind Glorious day up the Hourquette & Aspin!

Things to do this arvo, so little spin up the Aspin & to Lac de Payolle was all there was time for today. Oh well!

First evening back in the Pyrenees. Little walk around the new neighbourhood & introductions with the locals. Mooooo!

Early morning views around la Croix Blanche. More great trails & lucky cattle up here

As we're here: short walk up to the ridge & back. Funny how the cows pick a spot with the best view to relax, huh?

Woke up to this view right outside our front door. So beautiful! Misty hills down the road weren't bad either!

Gotta love a climb where last few kays are 10% pavé! Cattle here impressive too, esp. ones with the odd udders!

Hike up to Lac d'Oô. Lovely autumn colours & beautiful views. Pratiwi being brave with the locals too. Mooooo!

Time to head home. Past the lakes, amazing views, waterfall, cattle (mooooo!) and the rest.

On the way to Cabane de Bouleste. Pratiwi doesn't trust me to take enough pictures of the stunning scenary. WTF?!
