Quick stop to pick up some post-hike treats... decisions, decisions!

Another random stop, this time for coffee, cakes, meat pasty & you never can eat too much caco de bolo in Madeira!

Little spin in the Obarenes Mountains. Views over La Rioja before heading into the clouds! Spain in June - brrrrr!

Seems to be a pattern forming: I go riding & someone uses that as an excuse to buy cake. Not that I'm complaining!

Brunch part 2: coffee & hot chocolate so thick you can almost eat it like pudding! Banoffee pie to die for! OMG!

In Pia Eiji actually buying gifts! & 'trying' samples (had them before grin ) Pastry with chocolate filling. Super yum!

In a bakery for dessert: huge slab of layered sponge & cream cake covered in marzipan & chocolate. Unusual & v. good!

Somehow we didn't sit at this cafe & order all of this! Hope it doesn't weigh on me as one of my greatest regrets!

Friend just dropped by with gateau leftover from a function last night. Guess that's breakie sorted! Thank you!

Homemade focaccia 'cake'. Yes, bit like a cake as couldn't find correct type of flour. Still tastes great so meh!

Ends with more cream than cake! Tragic!

Pratiwi suggested coffee & cake, but this is Germany so... Bitburger with our Blackforest Gateaux grin

There comes a time one simply can't eat more fried banana. Luckily, cafes, tea & cake are here for such moments
