Wondering around Kranjska Gora - and messing about a bit What a beautiful little place.

Castle Statenberg. Don't see any fortifications, so more like a chateau? Either way, they have nailed shabby chic!

Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne town square, cathedral, tourist office & Mairie (town hall). V. pretty with all the flowers.

Easy hike through pine forest carpeted with buttercups to Belvedere d'Arpy, which has an amazing view of Mt Blanc!

Tootle in hills of the French Riviera. Some seriously steep pinches here... 29% max! Few nice views, but a bit busy.

Stroll in village of Seillans. Fountains & immaculately presented eateries a theme, but sadly bit early for lunch sad

Random lunch stop. This part of Germany seems littered with charming little places like this (Haslach im Kinzigtal).
