Local horse family came over to say hi as we parked up at this random spot. Not much traffic around as you can guess!

I rode here the day before & so beautiful drove Pratiwi up to see. Roads above the clouds always feel very special

Today's ride: Basque Epic from St-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Brutal gradients. Beautiful scenery. To Spanish border & back.

What a day to see cols with our visitor! Below/in/above clouds. Many cyclists. Cattle & horses. Sunshine happiness

Wondering above the Col des Palomieres. Not been for a while & good to be back! Awesome autumn day doesn't hurt! grin

Clearly it's hard being a foal! We pass this horse nursery often & 90% of the time the young are asleep. So cute!

Drove up the Hourquette d'Ancizan. Opened the door to some new friends Misty but the change makes it interesting.

Col de Beyrede (some dirt & gravel on the climb) & Hourquette d'Ancizan. Cos you can't do famous cols ALL the time
