Just because... drove up to Payolle & wondered the lake in glorious sunshine. Haven't seen it frozen before. Cool! grin

More walkies on a very crisp morning in Scunthorpe. Have to admit these two are pretty cute.

Not running water but solid ice! Cork blocking pipe from a water tank pushed out by ice (see it on floor?). Amazing!

Lac de Gaube. Frozen. Wow! View aside, sound of the ice popping & cracking echoing around was absolutely incredible!

Don't know why soft lad is mincing around like that... I doubt there's much chance of getting wet!

Little stream near at Pont d'Espagne. Half frozen there's a tiny waterfall created by the ice here. Cool!

Stroll at Pont d'Espagne: But 10m in & we found path covered in thick ice. No crampons so time to find another way!

Not sure the solar is going to be doing much work today! Glad the snail has a nice heating system though. Brrrrrr!

Crossing the highest mountain pass in Norway. Snow & iceberg strew lakes abound. And this is the middle of summer!

There's some XC ski trails by Col de Somport. Was very quiet & the ice-covered car park empty. #CarControlTraining
