After riding by yesterday, passed Besalu again today & took a closer look on foot. It's a very nice little village.

Tourism by bike today: medieval villages (Besalu & Castellfollit de la Roca), lakes & rolling countryside in the sun.

Quick look at little medieval square in Le Landeron. Think the road needs replacing with cobbles for more ambience.

Montpezat-de-Quercy. Another lovely little medieval village, with commanding views over the surrounding countryside.

Short walk in Bruniquel. Love off-season tourism, have this beautiful medieval village practically all to ourselves!

Saint-Cirq-Lapopie perched above river Lot. Very impressed by this beautifully preserved (& clean!) medieval village.
