Lunch pt 1 @ La Cuchara de San Telmo: a tiny, packed bar that cooks pintxos fresh to order. Definitely worth waiting!

After huge lunch all we can manage is a light supper snack... which in San Sebastian means pintxos & cheesecake. Yum!

What? You didn't think we could walk round the Basque capital at lunchtime & not have a few pintxos, did you? Nom!

Somehow we ended up here again after wondering the old town. Great atmosphere, food & just the right amount of chaos!

Intended to just snack on pintxos at lunch then have a big evening meal. But once we started couldn't wait. Oops!

When a buddy from Aus drops by for 48 hours. Not that I want to encourage anyone else... but bloody good time! grin

Two nights in San Sebastian: Eat, sleep, eat, sleep, eat, shop, eat, sleep, eat, sleep, eat. Yes: *two* nights! grin

Oh look... pintxos for... well, let's call this brunch Managed to squeeze some desert this time too. Delicious! grin

More pintxos & sangria for the girls, beer & steak for me! Luuurve Basque food! PS. this is smallest cut on the menu!

San Sebastian old town is packed with pintxos bars like this. This one seems as good as any, so in we go... grin
