Pre-dinner wander round Calpe old town.

Very late lunch in Pho 55. Pho isn't bad here - as you'd hope with the name - and roast duck was fantastic! Nom!

Light supper in a chilled cafe. Beers, sausages & sauerkraut, schnitzels & carrot cake. Nom, nom, nom!

Autumn colours in the botanical garden. Love it! Luckily the greenhouse was closed or we'd have been here all day!

Messing about in Menton. What a super nice little place. So glad we're visiting end of September & not peak season!

Tapas, drinks & dinner in Diano Marina. Bar has a kinda too cool for school vibe, but we just about fit in, right?

Short stroll in Peralada. There's a cool looking castle here but it's part of a resort & had guards at the gates sad

After riding by yesterday, passed Besalu again today & took a closer look on foot. It's a very nice little village.

Monte Palace garden, Funchal. The perfect place to visit with your plant obsessed wife!
