Today's view from the road, Mt Agung in the distance. Wish it was always this quiet!

Rice paddies viewed from the road. Locals tell us it's been very dry this season so amazed things are still so green.

Short meander around Tegallalang rice terrace. Steep as you'd imagine. Hot. Humid. Sweaty. But well worth the effort.

Wonderful lunch at Warong Legong. As I joked: would you like some fried chicken with your chilli? Superbly spicy! grin

Plenty of rice paddies around Ubud, & many with ducks in them on an eve. So funny to watch & so cute & sooo yummy!

Clouds lifted a bit after a little snack. Still a bit dull, but wow! Tegalalang terraces in the mist. Added interest!

Woke up too early so went for a short walk outside the villa. We're surrounded by rice paddies soooo...
