A Year in Aus
This travel diary was supposedly for the benefit of my friends in the UK to read while I'm away on my working holday in Australia. Without this, I'd probably have to mail it to them and bore the pants off them at regular intervals. At least this way, they can (of rather, they got to) choose when to view (or rather not view) it.

The Year

I found it a bit of a shock that I managed to keep this going for over a year! As I'm now sure everyone soon got the idea of exactly what I do on a day to day basis I stopped updating this after December 1998. However, once on your web site, there's little point in removing anything is there? So here it stays.

Text December 1998 - The end of my excellent trip through Queensland was filled will a scuba diving course and a few free dives. On return to Sydney the silly season got into full swing - party, party, party!

Text November 1998 - Another month, another holiday (grin...), this time up through Queensland, and this was much needed after the dull weather in Sydney at the start of the month.

Text October 1998 - Started out with a trip up the NSW coast, and home via the Blue Mountains with a few crazy mates from the UK - hence the huge number of pictures this month.
