Sestriere & Colle delle Finestre. #IYDK arguably one of the toughest climbs in Europe! Descent ain't bad either!

Driving across Italy today, so only quick lunch stop. Who doesn't love a kebab house that's also a pizzeria?! Nom!

Today's ride: an easy cruise along Lake Garda before climbing up to Punta Veleno.

Wonderful sunset dinner at Ristorante Due Alfieri. Delicious food & drinks right by the lake. Couldn't ask for more.

Classy truck stop lunch: cheese & tomato bread thing picked up at supermarket earlier... not really pizza, but close?

Rovinj: a maze of narrow cobbled streets, some very steep with more open areas by the water. Super interesting place.

Pizza snack in a lovely shady park. Which wasn't: we'd unwittingly wondered into grounds of a fancy school. Ooops!

Hike to base & top of Slap Rinka waterfall then the forest above. Sipping water straight from the mountain. Love it!

Short morning spin today. Yes, Lake Bled is beautiful, but the surrounding countryside ain't bad either!

Pre-dinner explore in Sommieres. Lots of tiny streets & passages. Love this very interesting medieval village.

Large brocante & market in Sommieres. Coffee with treats from patisserie. Chocolate & raspberry tart was top notch!
