Stunning riding above Gavarnie today, on 40km climb to Col de Tentes! Final 11km is HC in it's own right! #Broken wink

Relaxing in late aftenoon sun above Pierrefitte-Nestalas. Some tricky decisions to be made come morning! wink Hmmmmm grin

Climbed up Port de Balès. 19kms that just get steeper & steeper! It's lovely! wink Descent to Luchon even more so! grin

Little 'recovery' ride this morning wink Climbed Portillion to Spain then Peyresourde. Love, love, love the Pyrenees!

Today meant to be all DH from half way so smashed up Mente & Aspet. Imagine my joy finding 2 more cols after that! wink

Overcast & chilly in Odenwald, but out for nice loop anyway. Rolling hills mean nothing flat here. Great cycling grin

Rest of today's ride (Hildal to Hara): Stunning mountain pass left traffic free as main road now runs in a tunnel! grin

Latefossen few km into today's ride. Tourists & water all over the road. Bit of wind & everyone has an early shower!

Might have got a bit sweaty on today's ride wink Only drank 2.5 bottles in 3.5 hours though as it's not very hot here!

Today's ride: Vossevangen, along Hamlagrøvatnet (turns out this is largest lake in the area) & back. Very peaceful!

Oh Norway!!! Could be enduring the shitfight that is Southern Europe in August. Or here. Enjoying this. #NoBrainer grin

LOL! Erm... No! Turns out this spot is only 38km away, but thanks for the suggestion, Google! wink #RidePlanning

Road tunnels along fjord not great for cyclists, but this seems a typical bypass. Drop on right into water though! grin

This valley has 200m waterfalls & stunning water, but not even on the tourist map. Norway is overflowing with beauty!

Highest paved road in Northern Europe: 13.1km @ 10%. Middle 4km @ 12%. Many sections at 20% plus! In the rain. #Rule5

Cruising the fjords. Impossibly beautiful & absolutely brutal gradients - especially when you do repeats! wink Love it!

Rode from fjord 1,500m up to Dalsnibba, where on a clear day should be able to see the start. Not today, too misty sad

Today's ride: Trollstigen. Riding a HC climb the day after hiking 8 hours on 'challenging' terrain: Ouch! wink grin tongue

How paranoid tourists park their bikes in Copenhagen. Even though we were sat outside a cafe maybe 5 metres away!

Ride into central Copenhagen for a look around. Bike lanes here so organised & so busy! Lives up to reputation then!

Legs feeling effects of last couple weeks. Ouch! One stop today for natural break & took this. Always scenic here! smile

Had to change a spoke this morning. Which means... erm... had to actually clean the wheel to see what I was doing! wink

No pics of ride today. A couple of the aftermath then wink Think I broke distance & climbing records this week. Yay! grin

More fantastic Vosges today. Rode all the way to top of 3rd highest peak here & hit up a vaguely well known col smile

Vosges & Haut-Rhin. Stopped few too many times for pictures, but can you blame me? Another stunning cycling paradise!

Today's ride was here in the Odenwald region of Germany. Lots of quiet roads & rolling hills. Beautiful stuff smile

Out riding in Germany it's hard to find tap in public, so had to stop at bakery & ask for water. Tragic, really wink tongue

At last! Blue skies & warm in Europe! No thermal required! Today's ride back in Mosel region a cracker. #GoodTimes smile

Nestled between strip clubs & sex shops, Radsport Bebelaar in Trier seems everything a boutique bike shop should be!

View over a wildflower meadow passed on today's ride. This is rolling Ardennes countryside around Dochamps. Loverly.

Today's ride around Ypres was completely random, yet passed many cemeteries. Beautiful countryside, horrible history!

Pics from today's spin around Windermere (no vantage point of the lake itself). Bloody cold & windy but great riding!

Few Tour de Yorkshire pics. I said to local reporter (asking about Aussie connection) it's not the Tour de France! sad

Pratiwi: "Are you going cycling today?" Me: [checks weather] "F*ck that!" cry Hmmmmm... any nice pubs around here? wink

Pratiwi: "Want any sunscreen?" Me: "Where am I not covered?!" Arctic gales on today's ride, but still fun #Painful wink

Back from great ride round 50ish km of yesterday's Amstel Gold course. Lovely bergs. Sorry, no pics but imagine green hills & sunny skies smile

Today's ride in Belgium. Bit of pavé, bit of gravel. Cold (despite the sun) & bloody windy. Who'd have thought?! wink

Great to be back on the bike in the sunny Mosel smile But 6 wks of travel, 1 of gastro & 1 of flu has left zero form sad

Can't think why we chose this restaurant. At least while Pratiwi is engrossed in menu there's some entertainment! wink

Tell us something we don't know wink #ReadItAndWeepCouchPotatoes

Just back from cycling. GPS says it was 35° out. Phew! Pratiwi thought she'd have some fun while I stretch: Bliss!

Post ride relaxation in the shade. Bit quiet today, where is everyone? wink #XmasDayBikeRideDone #NowForLunch grin tongue

Feeling good on the 'train' after work wink How good is it to arrive home with mashed legs?! grin http://www.strava.com/activities...

Spotted in Barcelona: family of 5 travelling around by bike. So what was your excuse for not cycling touring again?

Was a bit of Strade Bianchi on the route today, so Cervelo needs a shower. Bike wash with a view outside our cottage!

Another nice trundle today. Snap of the view towards Kangaroo Valley from part way down Berry Mtn descent. Beautiful!

1500m climbed in only 60km today. Beautiful views on ride & for refreshments after. More of the same tomorrow please!

For poms who cry in 20° heat: my jersey after today's ride - & it's in this state a lot! GPS says 36° max. Nice! wink

Is this the only place UK looks 'hot'? wink Awesome geek stuff! @Strava #heatmap http://app.strava.com/saturday-h...

Yes, an actual road sign at the bottom of today's 2nd climb. Who will take the wrong turn? wink #TdF #SBSTdF #OGERocks
