Nov 2. Shorts & tee weather for daily walk around our home village. Been like this for a few days now - lovely! smile

Post ride late lunch (late even in Spain!). Rolling hills & coastal views from today's spot & we're only people here.

Meat & cheese fest (OK - with a few cursory greens & veggies) at our very generous neighbour's. Nom, nom, nom! tongue

Jolly to Saint Mont for a little degustation du vin today. Lovely area. Thanks to the chauffeur team for driving smile

Stumbled across Indonesian restaurant in Cahors. Someone's very happy! & yes, 2 peeps/3 dishes (+dessert) does go! wink

Look for 'fancy' restaurant in Cahors but v. busy Saturday, so end up in a backstreet bar. Prolly more fun anyhow! wink

Chemin de Halage: aka. a towpath cut into cliffs along the river Lot. Good idea as it makes for a nice shady walk.

Lunch in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Beautiful place & v.toasty today so we chose a super shady spot... & the large beer! wink

Saint-Cirq-Lapopie perched above river Lot. Very impressed by this beautifully preserved (& clean!) medieval village.

Oh look... a beach... and we're nowhere near the coast! grin Lovely spot by river Lot, Causses du Quercy National Park.

Second ride of the day: short cool down with Pratiwi, who also tried #HaySurfing for the first time wink Not bad! grin

Bit of snow this morning... all gone by lunchtime sad But what a beautiful walk it made for before then! smile

Another amazing day for a ride. Jan/Feb this year been rubbish skiing but awesome on the bike! Swings/roundabouts wink

Another awesome day on the slopes (despite a bit cloudy to start). And look who's joined in - yay! smile

On the shores of Untersee. We were last guests of the season in this campsite & they gifted us the stay! Danke! smile

We accidentally find ourselves in Munich, in October. Oops! wink Beer, best pork knuckle ever & other treats. Prost! grin

Morning tootle on the bike. Austrian valleys, lakes, churches & castles under brilliant blue skies. Beautiful stuff.

Clouds cleared as we were looking for a lunch spot so: beer & pizza in sunshine! Yes, quite big. Yes, ate the lot! tongue

Transfer day wink Views between La Villa & Cortina d'Ampezzo. Limited scope though due to overcast conditions sad

Afternoon snack: hot chocolate, coffee & apple strudel. Not a bad view either from this coffee shop in La Villa.

Passing a pretty grey Passo Gardena. Spectacular area, can't wait to see it in sunshine - hopefully!

OMG! Forgotten how much the Italians eat with this 1st/2nd dish thing. Absolutely stuffed! More cycling required! wink

Pre-dinner drinks by Lake Maggiore. I guess there are worse places to sip beer & watch the sunset... smile

Lunch at one of our fave spots. Farewell to our visitors, it's been... erm... entertaining! wink See you again soon? smile

Big dinner planned later so just need a snack for lunch? OK, pop up the mountain & share some charcuterie. Nom! tongue

Anniversary lunch at one of our favourite spots... with special family guest visiting from Aus. Amazing as always smile

Simple picnic on the rocks above Lac d'Artouste. Not a bad spot I guess wink Will spend more time up here next visit!

The train d'Artouste mountain railway. Bit of a tourist trap, but wonderful views & pretty entertaining all the same.

Taking a ski lift in summer - what's that all about then!? Always nice views from one of these things though! smile

Dinner in Ainsa. See we're sat by the specials board & yes that's what we're eating. 15E/person for this. Nom, nom!

Wondering the old town of Ainsa. Perfect for lazy tourists as it's so tiny! Now, where's the medieval bar? wink

What a day to see cols with our visitor! Below/in/above clouds. Many cyclists. Cattle & horses. Sunshine happiness smile

Lac de Gaube, stunning as always... even with a bit of rain at the end.
