Post ride late lunch (late even in Spain!). Rolling hills & coastal views from today's spot & we're only people here.
Meat & cheese fest (OK - with a few cursory greens & veggies) at our very generous neighbour's. Nom, nom, nom!
Today's ride: rolling along a supply branch of the Canal du Midi. And up to a random castle... because... why not?

Today's ride: Erm... where's the mountains & what's this blue stuff? Cruising between beaches on the Medoc coast.

Hike up to Refuge de Larribet. Lots of beautiful crystal clear water. Survived herds of wild animals intact! Phew!

Stumbled across Indonesian restaurant in Cahors. Someone's very happy! & yes, 2 peeps/3 dishes (+dessert) does go!
Look for 'fancy' restaurant in Cahors but v. busy Saturday, so end up in a backstreet bar. Prolly more fun anyhow!
Chemin de Halage: aka. a towpath cut into cliffs along the river Lot. Good idea as it makes for a nice shady walk.
Lunch in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Beautiful place & v.toasty today so we chose a super shady spot... & the large beer!
Saint-Cirq-Lapopie perched above river Lot. Very impressed by this beautifully preserved (& clean!) medieval village.
Oh look... a beach... and we're nowhere near the coast! Lovely spot by river Lot, Causses du Quercy National Park.
Second ride of the day: short cool down with Pratiwi, who also tried #HaySurfing for the first time Not bad!
