Beautiful short hike by Rio Aguas Limpias. Saw a few falls but from noise in gorge below are plenty more out of view.
We normally avoid campsite restaurants, but the menu del dia here looked good & didn't disappoint. Nom!
After lunch, obligatory 'town square by the big name' photos... and a random wheat/poppy field on the walk home

Little wonder around Oundle. Wouldn't be England if it wasn't raining though Very pretty place all the same.
There's been an inn on this site since 1552! Room for tonight is very cosy & not at all medieval though. Phew!

The former palace of Tirta Gangga, now a beautiful water garden of fountains, statues & ponds brimming with huge koi.
Warung Sabar: seafood so good that instead of ordering dessert after the main we asked for an entree of fish cakes!
Small pause in our food extravaganza: instant noodles for supper. Someone is still excited to try these though!
Seafront digs for couple of days. Welcome drinks by the pool. Room overlooking their tropical garden. Not bad at all!
Taman Ujung water palace. Super beautiful. Was a lovely cooling breeze in the pavilion's shade. That's good design!
Sea turtle conservation project in Sanur. When eggs are found in unsafe location they are hatched here then released.

Breakfast treats from beach side food cart & warung. Chicken bun & roll then pork satay, soup & sambal. Hit the spot!
Morning stroll at Sanur Beach. Few clues we're in Bali - cos going on voices here you'd think it was 'straya mate!

We were given free public transport passes in Switzerland, so on our last day here used on cable car to Hasliberg
Back into Wengen to catch the train 'home' to our camping. Some particularly well kept gardens here. Beautiful place.
